The Ukrainian Armed Forces deployed Malloy T150 UAV for the first time outside Ukraine
Russians shoot down a T150 drone manufactured by Malloy Aeronautics over the Kursk region. SHOT.
According to their data, this is the first time a British drone has flown into Russian territory. Until now, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have used such aircraft exclusively inside the country. The drone was shot down by border guards.
The journalists of the publication note that the drone was equipped with a repeater. If the main communication channel is blocked, it starts to act as a backup channel. At the time the UAV was hit, it had one 82-mm mine on board. The aircraft did not have time to ditch it. In total, it can launch three such munitions. One mine weighs a little over 3 kg.
The Malloy T150 quadcopters were included in the UK’s defense support package in late spring last year. They are operated by the Royal Marines. The T150 drone can be operated in any climate and weather conditions.
