The 3rd separate assault brigade in the war with Russia

The soldiers of the 3rd separate assault brigade are known for their effective actions against the occupiers. They are actively involved in the destruction of Russians on the front line. The unit was distinguished by its efficient and successful actions.

On May 26, an assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine cleared a forest belt and a canal from Russian invaders near Bakhmut. Russian soldiers wearing old helmets, probably Soviet-made, tried to quickly escape from Ukrainian soldiers in Donetsk region. Mortar and artillery teams supported the fighters.

It is not the first time that the defenders have successfully cleared a forest belt on the outskirts of Bakhmut. On May 25, Ukrainian defenders showed how they had advanced through the positions of Russian troops, and then a battle with the occupiers broke out with the use of various small arms. Ukrainian defenders also used machine guns. The presence of a large number of trees and diverse vegetation makes the task even more difficult.

Also on April 4, soldiers of the 1st Mechanized Battalion of the 3rd Assault Brigade showed how they participate in the fighting in Bakhmut. As a result of the fighting, there is practically no surviving building in the city.
