The new device is equipped with a 6.79″ IPS screen with FHD+ resolution, MTK’s Helio G88 processor, 50 megapixel camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery that can be charged with an 18W charger. The manufacturer built the fingerprint sensor into the side hardware button.
The device comes with MIUI 14 based on Android 13. Despite its cheapness, the Redmi 12 boasts an NFC module. Thus, the “state employee” can be used for contactless payment. In addition, it has a headphone jack and USB-C.
