Vienna was once again recognized as the most liveable city in the world. The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) has published its annual ranking of 173 cities.

Copenhagen was ranked second, with a high level of stability, education, and infrastructure. Last year, the Danish capital had the same position. Europe has created a ranking of cities with the best conditions for mental well-being, topped by Copenhagen.
Melbourne (Australia) rounded out the top three.
Large cities with high crime, congestion, and density have a lower index. In particular, London dropped 12 positions from last year to 46th place, and New York dropped to 69th place.
