China launched a Kuaizhou-1A rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on July 20 at 6:20 a.m. Kyiv time to deliver four new satellites belonging to the Tianmu-1 meteorological group in Earth orbit, English.News reports.

The satellites are designed to provide commercial meteorological data transmission services.

The first launch of the Kuaizhou-1A rocket took place in September 2013, and since then there have been 21 missions using the Kuaizhou-1A.

The Kuaizhou-1A launch vehicle can be launched from any Chinese spaceport using a mobile launcher.

It takes only six staff members and about 24 hours to prepare for the launch.

This was a continuation of the launch of the Tianmu-1 group of satellites, as the first two satellites were launched in January 2023, and four more in March.
