A Soviet MiG-23UB crashed in the US state of Michigan during the Thunder Over Michigan air show. This was reported by The War Zone.
While performing the maneuver, the pilots had to eject from the MiG-23UB. The fighter crashed into the ground, and the pilots fell into the water. The aircraft was part of the private collection of former U.S. Navy pilot Dan Flier. He ran his own YouTube channel, where he showed the interior of the fighter jet and its capabilities.

In 2023, the flight number N23UB took part in an air show to delight aviation fans. It is noted that the MiG-23 is a rare aircraft in itself, and even more so when it is ready to fly.
