HIMARS hits launchers, guidance system and radar of rare Russian S-300V4 Antey air defense system (video)

This system is capable of intercepting ballistic missiles

Ukraine’s Armed Forces were able to hit a very rare Russian S-300V4 Antey anti-aircraft missile system. The HIMARS system was able to strike at 70 km.

What is known

The components of the S-300V4 Antey anti-aircraft missile system were monitored by a Ukrainian drone. The video first shows the 9S32 self-propelled multi-channel missile guidance station. Next, the footage shows the 9C19 self-propelled sector surveillance radar station.

The drone’s camera lens also captured three 9A83 self-propelled launchers and one 9A84 launcher and charger. It is noteworthy that the latter is equipped with containers for 9M82 interceptors designed to destroy ballistic missiles.

As a result, the M142 HIMARS was able to completely destroy two 9A83 launchers and one 9A84 launcher. As for the 9S19 radar and the 9S32 missile guidance station, they were severely damaged. A tanker truck was also hit.
