Russian S-400 air defense systems and Podlet radar in Crimea were destroyed by the Ukrainian Neptune cruise missile system
He also sank the flagship cruiser Moskva
Over the weekend, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyeda launcher of the S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile system and a Podlit radar in Crimea. As it turned out, the attack was carried out by anti-ship missiles that are part of the Neptune complex.
This was reported by Ukrainian journalist Yuriy Butusov. According to him, Ukrainian Navy intelligence received accurate information about targets located on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula near the village of Olenivka.
After that, the military launched a ground-launched cruise missile at the Podlit radar station and the S-400 launcher. It flew at an ultra-low altitude, bypassed the Russian air defense system and destroyed the targets.
The Neptune ground-launched cruise missile system includes R-360 anti-ship missiles. The weight is 870 kg, including 150 kg of warhead, the diameter is 380 mm, and the maximum launch range is 280 km.
On April 13, 2022, the Neptune system hit the Russian flagship cruiser Moskva in the Black Sea. A few hours later, the Russian warship sank due to two missiles hitting it and the detonation of a munition.
