Elon Musk’s unmanned Tesla confused traffic lights at an intersection and almost got into an accident

Tesla CEO Elon Musk held a broadcast on the X social network demonstrating the latest version of Full Self-Driving. However, after 20 minutes, the autopilot confused the traffic lights and almost drove into the oncoming lane.

The broadcast lasted 45 minutes and was conducted using a smartphone. Musk himself was probably sitting in the driver’s seat.

At 20 minutes, the car stopped at an intersection with two traffic lights. One of them is for cars turning left. The other shows the way for cars going forward or to the right.

Musk’s car was in the center lane. When the traffic light for a left turn changed to green, the FSD suddenly steered the vehicle toward the turning cars.

The mask had to take over and stop the robot car. According to him, this is the first intervention in the entire experiment.
