In the Black Sea, at a distance of about 40 km from the Romanian coast, an explosion occurred on the cargo ship Seama, probably due to a collision with a mine. The crew was rescued
This was reported by CNN with reference to a statement by the Romanian authorities.
According to preliminary information, the explosion occurred in the ship’s engine room.
It is noted that 12 crew members of the Togo-registered Seama vessel were evacuated and taken to receive medical care in the port of Sulina near the border with Ukraine.
