UK tests T7 robot with X-ray designed to detect weapons and explosives (video)
Together with the British military, L3Harris specialists conducted field tests of the T7 robotic platform equipped with the X-ray Backscatter module.
This was reported by the official website of the UK Ministry of Defense.
The Ukrainian military knows L3Harris as the developer of Vampire anti-drone systems. They are used to destroy Shahed-136. With the X-ray Backscatter module, the T7 robot can shine a light through vehicles, walls, and containers to search for bombs and explosives.
You can follow the examination progress with the help of a monitor. Data is transmitted to it in real time. The image is formed using Backscatter technology. It involves directing a small beam of X-rays at the object under examination.
The purpose of field testing the robotic platform is to identify defects. Eliminating them will allow American engineers to create a full-fledged military robot based on the prototype.
