Fifth enemy Su-25 attack aircraft shot down in 10 days
Over the past 10 days, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have shot down five Russian Su-25 attack aircraft in the Tauride sector. The latter was “landed” in Donetsk region.
Ukrainian defenders achieved partial success southwest of Verbove in Zaporizhzhia region. The commander of the Tavria operational and strategic group of troops, Oleksandr Tarnavsky, announced this in the morning of October 19 in Telegram.
He said that on October 18, the enemy carried out two missile and 29 air strikes, 930 artillery attacks, and 34 combat engagements in the area of responsibility of his JFO.
Our missile troops and artillery carried out 1,434 firing missions in the Tauride sector yesterday.
Total enemy losses in manpower amounted to 322 people. In addition, the occupiers lost 43 pieces of military equipment. This number includes three tanks, three armored personnel carriers, 12 artillery systems, two MLRS, one aircraft, 13 UAVs, five vehicles and two special vehicles.
Our servicemen are aware that in Tokmak, Zaporizhzhya region, Russian invaders are massively settling in multi-storey buildings where the local population lives. In this way, the enemy creates a human shield.
