A man taught iPhone 15 Pro to automatically order him coffee when he approaches a cafe
Thanks to the use of the action button, the man gets coffee with less waiting. No need to open the app to place an order at Starbucks.
TikToker Brett Turner turned the “action button” on his iPhone 15 Pro into a “Starbucks button”. Now his phone orders him a latte when he approaches a restaurant in the chain.
Thanks to the use of the action button, the man gets coffee with less waiting. No need to open the app to place an order at Starbucks.
Turner presses the action button, which orders a light roast and latte at a distance of about 100 meters from the Starbucks.
This saves him time because the coffee is ready when he gets to the counter, without having to fiddle with lines or an app.
But the button works not only for ordering coffee. But when Turner presses it after 11 p.m., the button turns off the lights in his house. Turner said that this feature turns Do Not Disturb on and off if he is not near a Starbucks and it is before 11 p.m.
The new action button replaces the ringer/mute switch that has been present in all models since the very first iPhone in 2007. The Verge called this action button the most important new iPhone feature in years.
