Ukrainian engineers have produced a vertical takeoff and landing UAV, the Dzhmil-90, with a takeoff weight of 200 kg.

Ukrainian developers have designed and manufactured a prototype of a universal heavy-duty drone with vertical takeoff and landing with a takeoff weight of 200 kg.

The Dzhmil-90 drone is equipped with a Rotax-582 engine. The engine power is 48 kW (65 hp).

Fuel reserve is up to 60 liters. With an engine consumption of 27 liters. fuel per hour, this volume allows for a flight duration of 2 hours.

When fully refueled, the payload will be 50-60 kg. With a reduced fuel reserve, if you don’t need to fly to the maximum range, the payload can be higher. With a fuel reserve for an hour of flight, the payload will be up to 75 kg.

The versatile Dzhmil-90 UAV can be used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a vehicle for the delivery of ammunition, food, spare parts for equipment, etc. Depending on the required transportation distance, the cargo weight can be up to 90 kg.

The drone can be used as a weapon carrier, with the installation of appropriate weapons and a control module. The payload of 50-90 kg provides great opportunities in the choice of weapons.

In the civilian version, the UAV can also be used as a cargo delivery vehicle, as an agricultural UAV for processing fields from the air, for patrolling from the air (given that if the UAV has only a surveillance camera, the flight duration with an additional fuel supply can reach 3.5-4 hours).

Technical characteristics of the UAV “Dzhmil-90” :

  • estimated flight speed – 90-100 km/h.

Overall dimensions:

Length:

  • the body is 2600 mm.
  • along the edges of the propellers – 3700 mm.

Width:

  • body length – 2000 mm.
  • along the edges of the propellers – 3100 mm.

The height is 1300 mm.

  • The dry weight is 90 kg.
  • The maximum takeoff weight is 200 kg.
  • The capacity of the fuel tanks is 60 liters.
