Probably the work of HIMARS: Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to destroy a very rare Svet-KU electronic warfare system (video)
The Ukrainian military destroyed a very rare target on the battlefield. The Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine posted on their official social media accounts footage of the defeat of the Russian occupation forces’ RB-636 Svet-KU mobile electronic warfare system.
The third confirmed case of the loss of the rather rare RB-636 Svet-KU electronic warfare system by Russia.

The enemy vehicle was detected in the temporarily occupied Kherson region, and here again it is worth noting the work of our aerial reconnaissance men who “hunted down” this system from a reconnaissance drone and spied on it until the crew arrived at the position, adjusting fire from a suspected HIMARS missile system.
This is at least the third loss of their RB-636 Svet-KU electronic warfare system by the Russian occupation forces – back in March 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine took such a vehicle as a trophy, while our military destroyed this Russian electronic warfare system for the first time several months ago, at the end of August this year.
The Svet family of systems is designed to assess the situation, as well as to search, detect, analyze and locate radio signal sources. The machine also allows you to protect information transmitted over wireless channels from interception.
It is not known how many such systems are in service with the Russian army.
