Israel shows interception of target by Arrow missile system (video)

This is not the first time the military has used the Arrow anti-aircraft missile system to intercept targets. Before that, the first target was destroyed in space.

During the fighting, thousands of missiles of various types are launched at Israel. Various anti-aircraft systems are used to intercept air targets. The Ministry of Defense demonstrated the use of the Arrow anti-missile system.

The Israeli Defense Forces used the Arrow system, also known as Hetz, in the south of the country to intercept an air target. The military did not specify what exactly the missile system intercepted, but noted that it took place during Operation Iron Swords.

Arrow is a family of anti-aircraft missile systems that were created in accordance with Israel’s plans to have a missile defense. The project was funded by Israel and the United States. There are 3 generations of Hetz missiles and 4 are under development. Since the beginning of hostilities in Israel, the military has already used the Hetz to intercept a ballistic missile launched by Iranian Houthis from Yemen.

As a reminder, on November 5, Israel shot down a ballistic missile in space for the first time in history using the Arrow missile defense system.

On October 31, Israel used the newest Arrow missile defense system for the first time since the start of the war on October 7.
