The Russian military lost a new Plastun-SN tracked all-terrain vehicle on the territory of Ukraine.

The photos of the destroyed vehicle were posted by the Russian 76th Guards Air Assault Division, but were later deleted.

A Plastun-SN tracked all-terrain vehicle was destroyed in Zaporizhzhya region.

The Russian military received the first batch of this equipment only in October 2023.

The Plastun-SN special-purpose tracked all-terrain vehicle was developed for the Russian army as an evacuation vehicle.

The all-terrain vehicle is a novelty; it was introduced only this year and was tested at the NAMI test center.

The lightly armored all-terrain vehicle has combined Br3 (9 mm pistol bullet) and Br4 (5.45 mm and 7.62 mm) protection.

The all-terrain vehicle does not have a hard roof, which allows for quick entry/exit or evacuation of the wounded.

According to the developers, the weight of the Plastun-SN all-terrain vehicle is 3.8 tons, and the width of the all-season track is 50 cm. The all-terrain vehicle can reach speeds of up to 50 km/h.

These all-terrain vehicles are supposed to be used as evacuation vehicles, but they can also be used for reconnaissance or as a platform for an 82-mm mortar.
