A cheap drone turned a new Russian Tor-M2 air defense system worth $25 million into scrap metal (video)
The Russian army has lost another relatively new Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system. The SAM was destroyed by a RAM II kamikaze drone.
Recently, we wrote that the Security Service of Ukraine destroyed two Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile systems using RAM II barrage munitions. This time, the fighters of the Special Operations Center “A” eliminated one SAM.

The cost of one Tor-M2 is $25 million. The anti-aircraft missile system is designed to destroy airborne threats at a maximum altitude of 10 km and at a distance of up to 12 km.
Another target of the RAM II kamikaze drone was the BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launcher. Unfortunately, it was hit after firing several (or all) of its rockets.
As for the RAM II drone, it is a Ukrainian-made drone equipped with a full HD camera with a 10x optical zoom and a stabilization system. The cruising speed is 70 km/h and the maximum flight range is 60 km. RAM II has a takeoff weight of almost 10 kg with a 4 kg payload.
