On Sunday, October 22, at night, at a checkpoint at the entrance to the capital, the driver of a Honda hit a soldier. The soldier died from his injuries.
This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv police.
According to the investigation, the driver, driving a Honda, was moving along the M-01 highway in the direction of Brovarskyi Avenue in the second lane of the three available lanes, saw a truck ahead in the fog and braked sharply. As a result, he lost control and drove into the far right lane, where he hit a soldier.
The driver of the car was detained. According to the examination, he was in a sober state.
