A large “smoke mushroom”: an explosion occurred at one of the largest explosives plants in Russia (photos, video)

An explosion occurred at the Ural military plant in Solikamsk. Russian resources publish one photo with a smoke mushroom.

According to the local Ministry of Emergency Situations, “no one was injured, the company is operating normally.”

“There was a bang in the building of building No. 2. No one was in the building at the time of the explosion. The explosion did not affect the company’s operations,” they said.

The local emergency resource Solikamsk, citing employees of the Unified Emergency Dispatch Service, writes that the explosion and the smoke column were allegedly a “technological flash.”

It’s minus 2 degrees Celsius in the city, and it’s snowing lightly.

The local SolTV channel reported that the explosion “damaged nearby houses” and there was a threat of another explosion. No one is allowed to enter the plant. The company’s management and representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations held an emergency meeting.
