A new spy in the sky. Ukraine has created a drone called “Shchedryk” that can climb to a height of 4 km (video)

Ukraine has unveiled a new unmanned aerial vehicle, the Shchedryk. The aircraft-type drone moves at a speed of 150 km/h and has a range of up to 40 kilometers.

The video footage shows how the airplane-type drone is first removed from the car in which it was transported, and then the wings are attached to it, preparing it for flight. Apparently, the drone is launched using a ground control station. It is also equipped with at least two propellers and communication antennas located near the tail.

“Shchedryk” is our reconnaissance drone! And he is not the only one. The guys at the front will be even more effective in destroying the enemy,” Volodymyr Groysman signed the video.

In turn, the Interregional Humanitarian Coordination Center confirmed that they have set up the production of real unmanned aerial vehicles for the military. The co-founders of the organization, Serhiy Morgunov and Viacheslav Sokolov, told local media outlet Vinnytsia-24 that the drone would be a significant help to defenders on the front line, as it was developed with the military’s basic needs in mind to maximize its effectiveness during operations.

The developers clarified that the new drone can climb to an altitude of up to 4000 m, move at a speed of 150 km/h, and has a range of up to 40 km. And the name of the new Ukrainian drone was chosen by Vinnytsia residents themselves by voting.
