A signal to Iran and Russia – the US unexpectedly showed the USS West Virginia submarine
It can deliver nuclear strikes with Trident II (D5) ballistic missiles
The United States has suddenly revealed the location of its submarine, which can carry ballistic missiles with nuclear warheads.
It is about the USS West Virginia strategic submarine missile cruiser. The Central Command of the United States Armed Forces (CENTCOM) said that a nuclear submarine is in the Arabian Sea.
USS West Virginia was commissioned in 1990. The strategic submarine has two dozen Trident II (D5) ballistic missiles. Each of them can simultaneously carry up to 14 nuclear warheads.

The CENTCOM Twitter account published photos of the submarine and General Michael Kurilla, head of the Central Command of the US Armed Forces. He said the USS West Virginia is the crown jewel of the nuclear triad.
The US military rarely discloses the location of its submarines. Especially if they are close to the enemy’s shores. It is assumed that the USA revealed where the USS West Virginia is sailing in order to send a signal to Iran and Russia, which has been threatening the world with nuclear weapons for more than six months.
