A Ukrainian bomber drone destroyed a Russian T-80BV tank with a single grenade, hitting the hatch with a precise hit
The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to destroy Russian armored vehicles using unmanned aerial vehicles of various types. Another victim was a T-80BV tank.
The tank was destroyed by a Ukrainian bomber drone in the Donetsk region. The first grenade fell next to the combat vehicle. In the second attempt, the drone operator was much more accurate. He was able to hit the open hatch.

The T-80BV is one of several modifications of the T-80 tank, which was put into service almost 60 years ago. The BV version is about 10 years younger than the original combat vehicle. It weighs 43.7 tons, has dynamic Contact-1 protection and no active protection.
The tank’s arsenal includes a 2A46M-1 cannon with an eight-round ammunition and a 9K119 Reflex guided missile system. The 1100 horsepower engine allows the combat vehicle to reach speeds of up to 70 km/h.
