A Xiaomi smartphone is named, which has a better camera than the Xiaomi 12S Ultra

DxOMark analyzed the Xiaomi 12S Ultra camera. But the test lab, whose evaluations Xiaomi has been so proud of on other occasions, placed this smartphone below older smartphones that don’t even have Leica lenses.

According to the analysis conducted by DxOMark, the Xiaomi 12S Ultra ranks fifth. It is inferior to the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, which has the longest claim to the title of the third smartphone with the best camera on the market at the global level.

This is an interesting fact, since the camera of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra is positioned as the best on the market, especially now that the Chinese manufacturer is collaborating with Leica.

The Xiaomi 12S Ultra has a 50MP main camera provided by SONY, including an optical stabilizer and a total of 7 lenses designed and manufactured by Leica. Apart from that, it also has a 48MP wide-angle lens, a 48MP telephoto lens and a ToF 3D sensor.

According to DxOMark, the Xiaomi 11 Ultra is one of the best smartphones in terms of photography, featuring a 50-megapixel sensor with optical stabilization and 48-megapixel wide-angle and tele-macro lenses.

It turns out that cooperation with Leica did not give Xiaomi the result it was hoping for. Although there is still a ghostly hope that future updates will bring some improvements.
