American armored vehicles Oshkosh M-ATV are already in Ukraine
The Armed Forces of Ukraine received a batch of Oshkosh M-ATV armored vehicles from the Pentagon, which belong to the MRAP class. A video showing the armored vehicles standing along the road was posted on social media.
A post on the NMFTE Telegram channel suggests that the video was filmed on the territory of Ukraine. About 40 units of armored vehicles were captured. The convoy was accompanied by a Ukrainian UAZ-469.
It is worth noting that the US has not officially announced the transfer of Oshkosh M-ATV armored vehicles. The Ukrainian Armed Forces do not have such vehicles in service.
The RAPOshkosh M-ATV has a 4×4 wheel configuration. As mentioned above, the armored vehicle belongs to the MRAP class. Such armored vehicles are in service with the US Army. The roof of the armored vehicle has a rotating machine gun turret. It can be equipped with a 7.62 mm machine gun, a 40 mm grenade launcher or a 12.7 mm Browning M2 machine gun. The Oshkosh M-ATV can also carry a remote-controlled combat module.
