American Technology Network delivered a record number of thermal imagers to Ukraine for $13,200,000 in cryptocurrency

The American manufacturer of night vision devices, binoculars and optical systems American Technology Network has supplied the Armed Forces of Ukraine with a record number of thermal imagers since the beginning of the war.

This was reported by Kostyantyn Tymonkin, an expert on defense supplies. The recipients are the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Main Directorate of Intelligence and Special Operations Forces. Thanks to the American company, more than 15,000 Ukrainian servicemen received thermal imaging devices.

The supplies were paid for by donations from IT entrepreneurs, private donors and the company itself. The total amount was $13,200,000. However, American Technology Network took funds in cryptocurrency without violating either Ukrainian or American legislation.

This is the first transaction in the history of the cryptocurrency, and military goods markets that was paid in digital currency directly to the manufacturer’s account.
