Ammunition depot detonates: Luhansk region reports attack on Yunist plant (photos, video)

In the temporarily occupied city of Sorokine (Krasnodon) in Luhansk region, an explosion occurred near the Yunist plant, which specializes in the production of radio equipment and radio electronics.

Local channels report a strike on a Russian ammunition depot at the Yunost plant.

A column of smoke rises above the plant. Windows in Sorokyne itself, as well as in the surrounding towns of Sukhodilsk and Molodohvardiysk, were blown open by the explosions.

Footage of the detonation is also posted on social media.

The company is located on the highway towards Luhansk. Since the beginning of its aggression against Ukraine in 2014, Russia has used Yunist as a military base and logistics hub.

Meanwhile, the Russian occupiers announced an evacuation of schools.

Official sources have not yet commented on the incident.
