An explosion occurred near a military airfield in the Krasnodar region of Russia

On Sunday, July 2, an explosion occurred near a military airfield in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation, creating a 10-meter-diameter crater
This was reported by Russian telegram channels and the Medusa publication.

Local residents of Prymorsko-Akhtarsk reportedly heard a loud explosion at 16:00. According to eyewitnesses, a column of black smoke rose into the sky.

The Baza Telegram channel publishes a photo of the funnel and notes that its diameter is about 10 meters.

In turn, the Mash telegram channel claims that it was the air defense system that shot down the missile, which allegedly tried to attack a fuel depot on the territory of the military airfield.

The region’s governor, Veniamin Kondratiev, said there were no casualties or injuries.

“The reasons for what happened are now being investigated,” he writes.

On Wednesday, June 28, explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region. Preliminarily, arrivals of Russians at a military base and a depot used by the enemy for weapons logistics were recorded.
