An improved version of the chip from the iPhone 13 will be installed in the iPhone 14

Apple’s presentation will take place tomorrow, September 7, but insiders continue to leak information in advance. It became known that the younger iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus models will be equipped with an ‘improved version’ of the A15 Bionic chip. This is currently installed in the iPhone 13.

Unfortunately, the report doesn’t provide any additional details about the chip, but it is speculated that the standard iPhone 14 models will be equipped with an A15 chip with a five-core GPU, which provides up to 25% higher graphics performance. In the standard iPhone 13 models, the A15 processor has a quad-core GPU.

Most likely, nothing will change except for the graphical capabilities. Only iPhone 14 Pro models will receive the new Apple A16 processor.
