Analysts: Russian troops use museum T-54s in Zaporizhzhia sector (video)

The oldest T-54 tank may be 75 years old. The Russian Federation transferred them to the de-occupied Pyatikhatki.

While the Ukrainian army receives Western tanks such as Leopard 2, the Russian army receives older tanks. In the spring, echelons of T-54s were seen traveling to Ukraine. Now they are in the ranks of the occupiers. This was reported by OSINTtechnical on Twitter.

The Russian military uses T-54 tanks at the front. OSINT analysts have established that the photo shows a vehicle used by the enemy in Zaporizhzhia region near the liberated village of Pyatikhatky. The video also shows the tank firing.

“Kirill, and don’t let your subscribers b*tch about it being a fake,” the occupier addresses the author of the Russian telegram channel.

It is worth noting that at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia used modern T-72B3, T-80BVM and T-90M “Breakthrough”, but along with the destruction of modern vehicles, the occupiers began to use more and more old vehicles. First, T-62s were sent to the front, and then even older T-54s. Production of the latter began in 1948. The tank does not have modern optics, reliable protection and a powerful gun. The cannon has a caliber of 105 mm, which requires old ammunition.

As a reminder, on March 22, the media reported that Russia had started sending T-54 tanks to the front.
