Another road crossing will appear on the border between Ukraine and Hungary

Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Mustafa Nayem announced the construction of a completely new international automobile checkpoint ‘Velika Palady’.

By the end of 2022, checkpoints with Hungary should be built near the village of Velyka Palady in the Berehiv district of the Zakarpattia region. This was reported by the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, Mustafa Nayem.

The road to this border crossing is on both sides – Ukraine and Hungary, it remains to equip the infrastructure. For now, it will be temporary and will provide border crossing for cars and pedestrians. This will make it possible to unload other checkpoints to Hungary and Romania.

Of course, the biggest problem with the checkpoints is for cargo transport – long queues still lined up at them. However, the increase in checkpoints will help reduce the load on those crossings that cannot cope with the load.
