Antonivsky Bridge. Ukrainian Armed Forces raised the flag on the left bank and played the anthem (video)
A video has been posted online that claims to show Ukrainian defenders on the left bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson Oblast near the Antonivskyi Bridge. It is distributed by Ukrainian Telegram channels.
In the video, two Ukrainian soldiers are seen installing the national flag in the middle of the vandalized buildings.
The cameraman notes that Antonivskyi Bridge is nearby, and the destruction is caused by flooding and shelling.
The flood in southern Ukraine was caused by the occupiers’ terrorist explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant.
The defense lawyer says that they accidentally found a “cool” flagpole on one of the buildings and decided to hang the Ukrainian flag on it.
The cameraman asks his colleague to be “faster” and says that “God forbid” there will be occupiers’ Orlan reconnaissance drones.
He explains that they “didn’t ask for the sky,” probably referring to support for Ukrainian air defense.
The cameraman shows an arrival in the distance with smoke coming from it.
The defenders raise the flag to the Ukrainian national anthem, which was turned on thanks to the mobile Internet.
“We’ll give the idiots a little bit of a thrashing, let them know that this is our land,” the defender says.
There is no official confirmation yet.
The Deepstate OSINT project marks the area on the left bank behind Antonivskyi Bridge as a gray zone, its status is unknown. The area of this site is almost 2.5 square kilometers.
Oleshky, temporarily occupied by the Russians, are about 3 km away.
