Apollo humanoid robot can perform complex or hazardous tasks

A robot is an automatically controlled machine that can perform complex or hazardous tasks involving hard physical labor. Currently, various companies are developing humanoid robots to replace humans in enterprises.

Apptronik has presented Apollo, its version of a humanoid robot that it has been working on for 7 years. Apptronik has previously made more than ten robots. In addition, the Valkyrie robot was created for NASA.

Apollo is the first commercial humanoid robot designed for friendly interaction, massive manufacturability, high payload capacity, and safety. The robot is 173 cm tall, weighs about 72 kg and can lift 24 kg. It is integrated with a rechargeable, quick-change battery. Each battery can last up to 4 hours. It can also be connected to a charger for continuous operation.

Apollo’s body shape and size are similar to humans. This allows him to navigate in space and use tools and equipment. This makes interaction natural and allows you to perform complex or impossible tasks for other types of robots.

Apollo is integrated with multiple sensors and is designed to be a safe robot. Similar to the safety advantages of a robot compared to industrial robots, Apptronik’s unique force management architecture ensures safe movement around people.

Apollo is a general-purpose robot designed to replicate everything humans can do, allowing people to take on more skilled tasks.

The robot software package allows you to control humanoid robots and automate by deploying and fully integrating various solutions into warehouse and production operations.

In the near future, it will work in warehouses and manufacturing plants, eventually expanding to construction, electronics manufacturing, retail, home delivery, elderly care, and many other areas.
