Apple announces iOS 18: which iPhone models will receive the update
At WWDC 2024, Apple announced iOS 18, a new version of the iPhone operating system with numerous innovations.
Which model and when will it be updated
Here’s a list of iPhone models compatible with iOS 18:
- iPhone XR
- iPhone XS і XS Max
- iPhone 11
- iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max
- iPhone 12 and 12 mini
- iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max
- iPhone 13 and 13 mini
- iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max
- iPhone 14 and 14 Plus
- iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max
- iPhone 15 and 15 Plus
- iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max
- iPhone SE (2nd generation)
- iPhone SE (3rd generation)
Only the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max will have access to the new Apple Intelligence features, which require an A17 Pro or M1 chip or later. The first developer beta of iOS 18 will be available later on June 11, with a public beta expected next month and an official release scheduled for this fall.
