Apple discusses integration of OpenAI’s ChatGPT into iOS
Apple has not yet made a final decision on which technology to use
Apple has resumed negotiations with OpenAI to develop some artificial intelligence features for future versions of iOS. This was reported by Mark Gurmann of Bloomberg.
Apple is also negotiating with Google to license its Gemini artificial intelligence for iOS. Negotiations on both technologies are still ongoing, and Apple has not yet made a final decision on which technology to use.
The company said that it continues to work and invest in artificial intelligence. Apple has also released models of major open source languages to run on devices. The company plans to share details of its work in this area later this year at the WWDC event.
