Artificial Intelligence in Google Maps: New Features for Convenient Trip Planning
Google is actively integrating artificial intelligence into its services, making them more convenient and functional. Recently, searching for information in Gmail was simplified, and now the updates have reached Google Maps.
The new version of Google Maps has introduced a feature that allows finding locations using screenshots. The app analyzes images, identifies mentions of places, and displays them on the map. This significantly simplifies trip planning, as users can quickly find desired locations using screenshots from their device’s screen.
Currently, the feature is only available for iPhone users in the USA, but Google promises to add it to Android in the future.
Additionally, thanks to the integration of the Gemini model, users can create travel routes using artificial intelligence queries. The neural network generates routes with photos and reviews that can be saved in Google Maps.
