“Aston Martin rushing through the waves”: Brazilian company presents high-speed boats disguised as cars (video)
The Brazilian company SeaCar made a splash by introducing high-speed boats inspired by the Aston Martin Vantage sports car, which was produced in 1993-2000. Four-meter boats Vehigh and Maestry, skillfully disguised as cars, are designed for two people.
They borrowed not only the characteristic body design, but also the proportions from their four-wheeled inspiration. The front part of both boats is decorated with a stylized “radiator grille”, the stern is decorated with a “duck tail”. Another feature of Vehigh and Maestry is stylish alloy wheels.
Both boats are drop-tops with a structural beam running between the driver’s and passenger’s heads. Presumably, its task is to ensure additional structural integrity.
A Tesla-style steering wheel and a compact digital instrument cluster are in front of the driver. Also, the central tonneau and the center console with two cup holders indicate a kinship with cars.
The company did not provide information about the power plants of the boats. Allegedly, both models are capable of reaching speeds of up to 96 km/h on water.
SeaCar Vehigh and Maestry are sold at a price of $79,000.
