Attempted assassination attempt on Deputy Head of the Tax Service: court arrests suspects
The court imposed a preventive measure on the suspects in the attempted assassination of the Deputy Head of the State Tax Service, Yevhen Sokur. The two accomplices will be held in custody without the possibility of bail.
It is noted that the men face up to 10 years in prison.
What is known about the attempted assassination attempt
On August 17, an attempt was made in the center of Kyiv to assassinate the deputy head of the State Tax Service, Yevhen Sokur.
Later, prosecutors announced suspicion to two men in this case.
The main motive for the attempted assassination, according to the National Police, was Sokura’s professional activity.
