Audio and video calling feature added to social network X

On Thursday, October 26, audio and video calls were launched on the X platform (formerly Twitter). These features are only available to some users.

This was reported by The Verge.

It is noted that some users and members of The Verge’s editorial staff received notifications: “Audio and video calls are here!”.

There’s also a new toggle in the app’s settings called “Enable audio and video calls” that says you can “enable this feature and then choose who you feel comfortable using it with.”

Calls are known to be available from people in your address book, people you follow, and verified users.
