Ukraine will receive Slinger anti-drone systems from Australia.
What is known
The information was shared by Electro Optic Systems. The manufacturer has already prepared the first batch of systems (10 units) for shipment. They are going to be delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the end of this year. With the help of Slinger, the Defense Forces will be able to destroy small unmanned aerial vehicles. The Slinger system can be installed on pickup trucks and other vehicles.
The Slinger consists of one 30 mm Bushmaster M230LF cannon and a 7.62 mm FN MAG machine gun. In addition, the system has an optoelectronic device and radar.
