The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland claims that the missile is Russian-made
US President Joe Biden told NATO and G7 partners that the explosion in Poland was the result of Ukrainian air defense.
This was reported by Reuters with reference to a NATO source.
Previously, Biden spoke publicly: according to him, it is unlikely that this missile was launched from Russia. This is evidenced by the trajectory of its flight. The Associated Press, citing three American officials, wrote that it was a Ukrainian air defense missile.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland claims that the missile is Russian-made.
The rocket fell on November 15 in the village of Przewodów, Lublin Voivodeship, Poland, 6 km from the border with Ukraine. As a result, two people died, and a grain dryer was damaged. A meeting of the Committee of the Council of Ministers on National Security and Defense under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Mateusz Moravetski was urgently convened in the country. The journalist of Polsat News in Ukraine, Mateusz Lakhovskiy, wrote that the wreckage found in Przewodow is part of the Russian X-101 cruise missile.
At the same time, OSINT experts, based on photo and video analysis, claim that the wreckage is similar to a part of the engine of the Soviet S-300 complex missile. They are armed with the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces.
