The Kraken special forces unit has received a British-made Pinzgauer 6×6 armored vehicle. His photo was published in X OSINT analyst Weapons Illustrated.
The photo shows an armored vehicle in the Vector PPV version. In addition to the armored vehicle, you can see a set of new tires on it. Apparently, they were bought by volunteers.
The exact number of armored vehicles in service with the special forces is not disclosed. It is possible that the Pinzgauer 6×6 was handed over to the military scouts in a single copy.
The British Defense Forces began using armored vehicles for the first time in 2022. They provide the Ukrainian military with high mobility. One of the batches of armored vehicles was donated to the Ukrainian Armed Forces last summer by an anonymous benefactor.
