ChatGPT on iOS has learned to search for information on the Internet using Bing
The ChatGPT app on iOS now allows paid users to access up-to-date information from the Internet provided by Microsoft Bing.
What is known
To enable web browsing with Bing in the ChatGPT app, go to the settings and enable the Browsing option in the New Features section. There, you need to select GPT-4 in the model switcher and then find “Browse with Bing” in the drop-down list.
Currently, ChatGPT has an app for iOS only. The Android version will appear “in the near future”.
The integration has been available to Plus subscribers in the chatbot’s web app for some time now. It allows you to “browse the Internet to answer questions about the latest topics and events.” Knowledge of the free version of ChatGPT is limited until 2021.
