Developers S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 refused to voice the Russian game
Ukrainian game studio GSC Game World refused Russian voice acting in the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, writes DTF with reference to the words of the representative of the studio Zakhar Bocharov.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be broadcast in Ukrainian and English, as well as subtitles in 16 languages, including Russian.
Earlier, the mention of the Russian language disappeared from the game’s website.
- On June 13, it became known that the release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 postponed to 2023.
- At the end of May, the Ukrainian game studio GSC Game World resumed work on the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl after suspension due to Russian invasion.
- On March 2, the Kyiv studio announced the suspension of work on the game, and said it was working to help employees and their families survive the war. According to Czech media reports, the studio moved staff to Prague the same month.
