Dozens of vehicles destroyed: Ukrainian Armed Forces report success in counteroffensive in the south
Over the past day, 47 pieces of Russian military equipment were eliminated, including the Buk missile system, the Zoo radar system, tanks and guns.
In the Tavriya sector, Ukrainian troops completed 1,293 firing missions and eliminated almost three Russian companies. Oleksandr Tarnavsky, commander of the Tavria operational and strategic group of troops, provided details on Telegram.
The defense forces continue to advance and successfully destroy enemy equipment. In total, 47 units of Russian military equipment were eliminated over the last day.
Tarnavsky named the list of equipment that was eliminated. According to him, these are the Buk anti-aircraft missile system, Zoopark radar, 2 electronic warfare stations and automotive equipment. Among the most valuable samples are 6 tanks, 3 armored personnel carriers, 4 D-30 guns, 2C5 Hyacinth-S gun, 4 Zala UAVs, Supercam UAVs, 2 Acacia self-propelled artillery systems, Msta-S howitzer, and Murom-M long-range visual surveillance system.
“We are moving, knocking out the enemy, returning our land,” he said.
The Russian invaders also lost 5 ammunition depots.
Situation in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, the General Staff report says, the enemy is trying to hold back the advance of Ukrainian troops. The occupants conducted air strikes on the outskirts of Havrylivka, Novodarivka, Antonivka, Zmiivka, Antonivka (Kherson region). Intense fighting also continues in other areas. Near Bakhmut, Ukrainian troops are advancing on the flanks and conducting assault operations.

According to him, the Defense Forces continue to hold the initiative. The enemy is being pushed back on the southern and northern flanks of Bakhmut.
