EOS C VTOL drone helps HIMARS destroy Russian Buk missile system

Ukrainian defense forces destroy a Russian Buk anti-aircraft missile system. The launcher was eliminated with the assistance of a drone.

The M142 HIMARS multiple launch rocket system destroyed a self-propelled launcher of the Buk air defense missile system. An EOS C VTOL reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle was used to adjust fire.

The drone was developed by the Estonian company Threod Systems. It can reach a speed of 110 km/h and has a range of 120 km. The radius is no more than 50 km.

Last week, the Sergey Prytula Charitable Foundation launched a fundraiser for five unmanned aerial systems, each consisting of a control station and three drones. The purchase of the EOS C VTOL for the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine requires ₴120 million ($3.25 million). More than half of the amount has already been raised.
