Explosions occurred in Belgorod region: Russia claims air defense system is working (video)

The Russian defense ministry claims that nine Uragan MLRS missiles were allegedly destroyed over the Belgorod region. The media also reported a UAV raid.

On the night of September 30, explosions occurred in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation. The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

A Russian official said that air defense was activated over Belgorod and the Belgorod district. According to him, air targets were destroyed on the approach to the city.

“Operational services are clarifying the consequences on the ground. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties or damage,” Gladkov wrote.

The Russian Ministry of Defense said that Ukraine allegedly attacked the territory of Belgorod region with a Uragan multiple launch rocket system.

The agency reported the destruction of 9 shells. There are no reports of casualties or permits.

Air defense system triggered in Belgorod region

The SHOT Telegram channel also wrote that Belgorod region was attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles at night.

The publication says that two drones allegedly dropped VOG-17 grenade launchers in the village of Bohun Horodok. The channel’s authors stated that the explosives fell in a field. Another UAV, according to them, was shot down by border guards with an assault rifle near the village of Ustynka.

As a reminder, on the night of September 20, explosions occurred in the village of Pogar, Bryansk region of the Russian Federation, and power supply was disrupted. According to local residents, a total of four explosions were heard.

We also reported that on September 29, a representative of the occupation administration of Horlivka, Ivan Prykhodko, came under fire 20 kilometers from the front line. Later it became known that unidentified missiles hit a hotel near Yenakiyevo.
