Explosions reported in occupied Crimea near a training ground and airfield

In the temporarily occupied Crimea, explosions were heard in the areas of the Starokrymsky training ground in the east of the peninsula and Kirovskoye airfield on the morning of August 31.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Crimean Wind Telegram channel.

In addition to the explosions, local residents have also reported shooting in these areas online.

It is emphasized that representatives of the occupation “administration” and the Gauleiters “did not warn about the exercise, it is too early for “utilization”.

There are no official statements on what is happening in these areas.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time that “cotton” has been found in the area. On July 19, explosions were also heard in Kirovsky district near the village of Krynychky, and there were reports of alleged “arrivals” at the territory of the Starokrymsky training ground, followed by the detonation of ammunition.

After that, representatives of the occupation “authorities” announced the evacuation of residents of a number of villages, including Krynychky, Aivazovske, Abrykosivka and Pryvitne.

In addition, on August 9, powerful explosions were heard again near the Starokrymsk training ground and in the Dzhankoy area. At the time, the occupiers claimed that “planned ammunition disposal” was taking place.

Explosions in Crimea

As a reminder, explosions have been occurring more and more frequently in the occupied Crimea lately. Most often, they are associated with successful strikes by our defenders against enemy soldiers, equipment and ammunition depots.

For example, yesterday, on August 30, in Feodosia, there were reports of a drone “arriving” and starting a fire in the houses.

In addition, on the same evening in the south of the occupied Crimea, powerful explosions were heard in the area of Alushta, coming from the direction of Perevalny, and according to local residents, sounds similar to shooting were also heard in Alushta.
