French ship shoots down two drones flying from Yemen

This was reported by the French General Staff on the social network X.

The interception of the drones took place around 21:30 and 23:30 at a distance of 110 km from the Yemeni coast.

Earlier, a U.S. Navy ship off the coast of Yemen was fired upon from land. The ship intercepted missiles launched by the Houthis, who are supported by Iran and Russia.

Later, in the Gulf of Aden in the Indian Ocean, terrorists tried to seize the Central Park ship of Zodiac Maritime. It was flying the Liberian flag near Yemeni territorial waters. There were 22 crew members on board, citizens of Russia, Vietnam, Bulgaria, India, Georgia, and the Philippines. The team was led by a captain from Turkey.

The USS Mason, a Japanese Navy vessel and combat helicopters took part in the capture of a group of Houthi terrorists who were trying to take control of the Central Park tanker in the Gulf of Aden near Yemen.

The tanker crew detected the threat in advance and locked themselves in a safe room. The sailors managed to send a signal for help. It was received by the US and Japanese naval ships that were nearby. They went to Central Park. When the terrorists noticed the approach of warships, they abandoned the tanker and tried to escape to Yemen. They were intercepted and arrested. At the same time, the sailors made only warning shots.
