Pre-sale of a small electric car starting at $5,900 starts in China on February 6.
Do you remember the Geely Panda A-class car, which was sold in Ukraine 15 years ago? Yes, forget it: the new Geely Panda Mini EV has nothing to do with it. Except for the name, of course.
The Panda Mini EV is a four-seater microvan. It has two versions: with a range of up to 120 km and up to 200 km on a single charge. Of course, these numbers are “Chinese!: they are unlikely to be reliable.
But the price in China is known – from 40,000 to 60,000 yuan (this is approximately 5,900 – 8,800 US dollars), depending on the configuration. The official launch date of this car is scheduled for February 6.
The exterior design of Geely Panda Mini EV resembles a cute panda bear. The Panda Mini EV has two rows for four short people. Body length, width and height 3065/1522/1600 mm, wheelbase 2015 mm.
The Panda Mini EV electric motor is equipped with LFP batteries from Guoxuan Hi-Tech. The maximum speed of movement can reach 100 km/h. In addition, the long-range version is equipped with a 30 kW (41 hp) front motor and supports 22 kW DC fast charging, which can charge from 30% to 80% in 30 minutes.
The car is equipped with a 9.2-inch LCD instrument panel and an 8-inch LCD central control screen that supports intelligent voice recognition. This model has a driver’s airbag, child seat interface, tire pressure alarm, electronic central locking, power windows, rear view camera and parking radar. The Panda Mini EV has a laser-welded body, using high-strength steel and an anti-collision steel side beam.
